Literature Text

I once knew a girl, Melody,

who had an amazingly

horrible problem.

She couldn't control it, either.

Whenever something good crossed

her mind,

she would begin

to float

away,

& she couldn't stop

herself until she thought

of the most horrid things.

Her father, Mr. Eriksson, blamed

it on his wife, Wendy.

Her mother, Mrs. Eriksson, blamed

it on Melody's

real father.

"She gets it

from him!"

She'd defend herself.

"It's just a small case of

Peter Pan Syndrome."

& Melody would smile,

thinking of

her real father,

who had visited her

in her dreams

on multiple occasions.

but her dreams were

as real as dreams

could be.

& when she'd think of him,

she'd start to fly

away.
This one was from the prompt list(: See, I told you guys:P
